Rhubarb is surprisingly easy to grow, and will produce a good crop. Greenish coloured, juicy stalks (that are not very stringy) and have a delicious, sweet flavour. Green varieties are often the choice of commercial growers as they usually tend to be more productive that the pink types. This one is ideal for well-drained areas of the vegetable garden, and once planted it should not be moved.
