Tall, showy spikes of intense blue flowers with black calyces adorn this butterfly magnet. Salvia ‘Black and Blue’ makes a nice cut flower.

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Great in borders and flower beds. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage rebloom. Cut back in winter. Moderately drought tolerant once established.
