Jasmine is a perennial vigourous climbing plant, with twining stems, glossy dark green, oval leaves to 10cm in length, and clusters of very fragrant flowers 2.5cm in width produced in mid to late summer. Jasmines are widely cultivated for the characteristic fragrance of their flowers.
