Berberis is a great shrub with some interesting and exotic colours that make it an excellent addition to any garden. The upright stems carry small, rounded leaves which are bright red with yellow margins. Tiny flowers appear near the tops of the stems and make for great pollinators. A versatile option for use as informal hedging or as a specimen plant.
